What's been going on in my neck of the woods

I will have to write a longer post later about my time with my hermana and in-laws (I am still with them), but I thought I would at least post the moose picture. Why on earth is Kara wearing that crazy thing you may ask? Well, this morning my mother-in-law and her sister Chris informed me that each person who walks with them on Saturdays has to wear this hat (they claim they both have worn it). I am not a person that is ashamed to be myself in public, but even this was pushing my comfort zone. I did wear it the whole 3 1/2 mile walk and smiled at everyone who laughed at me. Empowering??? A little, and Sharon did tell me that I pulled it off fabulously.
