I am. I swear that I could sleep through an earthquake. I obviously eventually wake up if my kids are crying in the night, but ask Chris, it is hard to wake me up. Last night I suddenly felt a little "Gabe" sleeping next to me. I woke up (kind of) suddenly and wondered why he was next to me and how he got there since he sleeps in a crib. I waited for a little while snuggling and then decided to take "him" back to his crib. I laid him down, went to the bathroom, and then came back to check on the kiddos before I went back to bed. I looked at Sofia's bed and freaked out when she wasn't there. Chris was still up downstairs, so I yelled for him in only the way I can when I am half way asleep still. He ran up, and I told him that Sofia was missing. He laughed when he looked in the crib and saw Sofia and Gabe sleep there soundly. What the heck... why did I think that Sofia was Gabe?? I know that most of you are probably thinking this is kind of a lame story, and it kind of is if you weren't there. I am just freaked out that I am so out of it when awoken that I didn't even know the difference between my kids. Scary. Any other heavy sleepers out there?

that's funny. sounds like a Jeff seizure...
Ha ha ha. I liked this story, it was cute and funny. Mostly funny that you thought your one in the crib was in your bed, but even funnier that you put her in with the baby and didn't even notice there was already a baby in there! Too funny!
I am a heavy sleeper and my hubby is a light sleeper. I often miss hearing the children cry in the night only to hear it in the morning from my hubby..."You didn't hear that J woke up three times?" me..."Seriously? No I did not" I think it's these drugs they have me on for my jaw, but man I sleep like a rock!
Apparently I yelled out in my sleep the other night...don't remember that either!
that is really funny Kara. I wish I was a heavy sleeper. I wake up easily and Austin can sleep through anything.
Funny! Denver does all sorts of things like that in his sleep. I could tell you some stories... But he has a sleeping disorder, so that's his excuse.
it's the opposite in our house too...orum could sleep through an earthquake! but seriously, that is hilarious!
That is so dang funny! She must be quite a sleeper too to just go ahead and lay her head down next to little brother.
Oh, I forgot to say, I wish I could sleep like that. I just pretend to be sleeping when it involves one of us having to get out of bed.
I haven't been here in forever..
I did he hippie chick two years ago, its fun isn't it?!
